Common questions
- Does Epic One replace our ERP?
- No. Your ERP stays the system of record. Epic One sits on top of it as a layer your team talks to instead of clicking through screens.
- Can Epic One change records on its own?
- No. It shows the exact change and waits for a person to approve it. Then it executes, verifies the result, and logs it.
- What can each person see?
- Epic One connects with each person’s own ERP or CRM login, so it only sees and does what that person’s existing permissions allow.
- Does Epic One work with E2 JobBoss² without an API?
- Yes. It operates E2 JobBoss² the way a person would, using dedicated login credentials, so no vendor-side integration project is needed.
- Can shop floor workers use it without a laptop?
- Yes. You can have a full conversation with Epic One by text message, and the mobile app shares the same history as the web app.
- Is our data used to train AI models?
- No. AI processing runs on Anthropic’s commercial API, whose terms prohibit training models on customer data.
